Job description and areas of responsibility:
We are currently on an IT transformation journey, improving agility in our ways of working, including upscaling capabilities within IT. Within the Application Maintenance team, our operating model is focused on the ‘Business As Usual’ (RUN) side in Pandora IT’s Operations team. We are responsible for daily operational activities related to in-use applications, and our Application Managers are accountable for the Performance, Availability and Stability of the global business applications (production).

As our new Cross Functional Application Team Lead, you will manage and lead a team responsible for ensuring adherence of the Global IT support model and operational system availability for assigned applications. You will ensure transition from “Build” to “Run”, and support one or more applications or projects in transitions related to Cross Functional Applications. Furthermore, you will be accountable for the availability of applications and be the main contact person once they are operational. As Team Lead, you will engage closely with stakeholders – both internal audiences and external service providers to ensure optimal performance and use of the applications.

In addition, you will:

  • Manage financial reporting for the applications in scope
  • Manage the maintenance and support related to the applications’ upcoming developments, upgrades and/or minor enhancements
  • Be accountable for the continual service improvements of the applications
  • Collaborate with Business and Product Development Owners to conduct Risk Assessments; to monitor, evaluate, report and plan proactively on the risks, quality, costs and growth perspectives and in general the state of the applications
  • Monitor SLA adherence for a few selected suppliers providing support

The Application Maintenance team is a busy department where we work closely together, help each other out and appreciate an informal and humorous tone. There will be areas of improvements and you will be part of designing the ideal support structure – experiences and lessons learned from the past help us mold the future. You will report to the Head of Application Maintenance, IT Operations and have daily management responsibilities for three direct reports.

What is needed to succeed:
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have an education within Business, Economics or Engineering and strong project coordination or management skills. Most importantly, you have experience with Application Management, Maintenance and/or Support.

Further to the above, you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an Application Manager, preferably within an international environment
  • Experience from a people management and/or team lead position
  • An ITIL V3 Certificate - Foundation or higher
  • Experience working with service desk services and other third-party vendors providing support services
  • Experience with supporting Applications within logistics, supply chain or similar areas

You are detail-oriented and aim to deliver accuracy and efficiency in all your tasks. Further to this, you are flexible in your work approach, with the ability to prioritise according to urgency. Finally, communication is a forte of yours, and you enjoy delivering presentations and facilitating meetings/events for a variety of stakeholders.

This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 3-4 times a year.
