Job description and areas of responsibility:
As Manager of Global Inventory Optimization, you will ensure channels within the clusters receive planned demand signals according to their versioned forecasts. You will act as the ‘voice’ of the total demand across clusters ensuring full revenue optimization – particularly when there is constrained inventory.

On a daily basis, you will run projects and perform tasks related to:

  • Ensure sales forecasts match demand plans across channel and clusters
  • Communicate clearly and control that each cluster and channel receives what was requested in the original versioned Demand Plan as per laddered timelines
  • Ensure transparent and unbiased reporting visibility to each metric segment by channel
  • Allocate inventory to each channel an cluster using plan algorithms
  • Lead commercial preplant builds process for key trading periods (e.g. Black Friday, Christmas) to ensure stock allocations by channel match to budgets and forecasts
  • Call out and escalate risks in inventory readiness to CCO, SVP Merchandising, SVP Operations and CFO
  • Manage the eCom stock allocations and POSM stock allocations
  • Ensure production flows can be adjusted and in bound receipts can be adjusted to balance when there are significant disconnects or misalignments across demand and sale expectations for any channel or cluster
  • Continually maintain a 6 month out view of any issue with production constraints at DV level and aggregated level

What is needed to succeed:
To succeed as Manager of Inventory Optimization, Global Merchandising, we imagine that you have experience in managing and optimizing revenue, inventory and sell thru’s at a global and ideally regional level within an omni channel fashion retail environment and that you can demonstrate ability to effectively manage resources.

Furthermore, you have and can demonstrate:

  • Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • General retail skills and business acumen
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally and geographically
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross functional teams (clusters and global)
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong attitude to learn technical applications (like MC Access, Hyperion and APTOS) quickly

Something about you:
You might be the person we are looking for if you have a strong commercial understanding, and are analytical by nature. You make decisions based on facts, are able to manage large sets of data and can plan ahead to avoid any drama. As teamwork is a key part of Pandora, we envision that you have the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally as well as globally. In addition, you are able to break down complex data into a simple form so that all stakeholders can understand the information.

This role will be based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Bangkok or Hongkong. Candidates should be able and willing to travel to Pandora stores globally when it is required.
