Being the ‘go-to’ finance leader in all aspects of IT Planning & Strategy, Operations and IT project management
Pandora has frog-leaped its digital capabilities within the last couple of years, and we continue to invest heavily to get in front and drive the business even further. In 2020, our online platforms across the world has grown with almost triple digits on revenue and profitability. Over the next years, we will invest billions to digitalise the workforce, the way we do business and the way we think. To ensure maximum impact of our investments, we are looking for a finance talent who can step-change our ways of working, drive the agile mindset and upscale our financial capabilities within the IT and Digital arena. You will drive a very capable team to deliver cutting edge financial business partnering solutions, and we need your expertise to drive the agenda towards the hundreds of colleagues in IT and Digital. By joining our Global Business Finance department, you will support and enable our IT and Digital organisation by being the ‘go-to’ finance leader.

You will have a central role in the IT and Digital Management meetings as well as in the Project Portfolio Board meetings, ensuring impactful projects are being developed within the approved budget. Further, you will be part of establishing value creating initiatives and projects to ensure transparency within project and operational spend. Further, you will:

  • Assume the role of trusted sparring partner for the CIO and the CDO
  • Bring strong leadership to develop the function and your team
  • Forecast, plan and budget expected performance together with the IT and Digital leadership teams
  • Improve and drive the monthly financial reporting
  • Build, challenge and review business cases to support further investments
  • Contribute proactively and drive financial improvement projects focusing on internal financial controls, systems and reporting
  • Setup processes to drive business behaviour and capture committed benefits through our Global Finance Business Partner network

Your new team
You will be part of Global Business Finance, a large multi-cultural finance department of more than 100 professionals. You will report to the Vice President of Global Functions Finance consisting of around 15 talented colleagues. The IT and Digital Finance team will report to you, and currently consists of 3 team members serving the CIO and CDO as true Finance Business Partners. Our whole team works closely together on parallel tasks, we help each other when needed and we enjoy an informal, caring and humorous environment with respect for each other as individuals.

Finance wizard with the ability to ask the right questions and develop the right processes
You might be the person we are looking for if you are a strong finance professional with a passion for working in a multinational environment. You are excited about technology, the benefits of working with an agile mindset, and you enjoy a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently. As a strong communicator, you are able to manage stakeholders and work well in a team setting.

You have a background working as a Consultant at an advisory firm, or within Finance at a large international organisation. You have been part of driving agile and digital global transformations and thus bring a strong tool-box enabling us do the right things, ask the right questions and develop the right processes. You are able perform in ambiguity while you know how to design and implement processes to strengthen prioritization and governance within IT and Digital. You are able to dissect minute details and paint the broad strokes. Further, we hope to see

  • Minimum seven years of experience working with finance and/or IT and Digital environments
  • Black belt in agile ways of working and funding, with a toolbox to implement it in Pandora Finance
  • Strong international background from working in multicultural settings
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with strong focus on people management and talent development
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and natural ability to give and take feedback
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to deliver key messages in a concise professional format
