Having recently declared our intent to go public, we are going through interesting times and are ready to take the next step up the brand maturity ladder.
As key player in this transformation, we are looking for a Global Head of Media to help us step-change the way we do marketing. In this, your remit will be wider than “just” being responsible for all our paid media globally. You will also be leading projects to figure out how we can reach prospects and engage customers in different and innovative ways, whether that’s by developing new features on our platform, engaging with online communities or something completely out-of-the-box. And you’ll be managing a lovely and talented team of analysts, paid media, social and search specialists.
Role and responsibilities
- To be responsible for our approach to reaching and engaging target audiences
- To be responsible for deploying and optimisation of our media budgets to ensure the most bang for our buck.
- To bring a systematic approach how we can engage customers and build communities in new ways
- To help define the Saxo marketing philosophy and our global/local approach
- To work closely with our data science team, our marketing strategy team and relevant external partners to drive our effectiveness and effect modelling agenda
- To be a champion of the positive impact of marketing investment and to frame the impact in a way that’s compelling for our executive and senior leadership teams.
- To work with our in-house creative team to make media an integral part of the creative development process
- To partner closely with our global go-to-market team to prioritise and execute initiatives across markets
- To work with the platforms team to develop products and features that enable and encourage customer sharing
- To run and optimise our always-on programmatic initiatives, both in terms of targeting and the performance of the assets themselves
- To be a media and marketing thought-leader and to stay up-to-date on the changing media landscape
- To manage our relationship with media vendors and partners.
- To hire, manage and develop talent in the media team
About you
- You have extensive experience leading media in a global context and can bring a trove of ideas and media best-practice from other global brands
- You got a track record of developing impactful media strategy
- You balance your strategic vision with a drive to execute and make things happen
- You have a strong opinion about how marketing works and the role media plays in this
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by innovating and trying new things out (test, learn, adapt)
- You’re want to be part of building a world class marketing organisation
- You speak English and write well
- You communicate well and are a confident presenter
- Experience working in a matrix organisation a plus
