As Head of Discipline within Green Energy Pipelines, you will be engaged in innovation, guiding a skilled team of approximately 20 specialists and project managers. Your leadership will affect the future of sustainable energy solutions, ensuring technical high standards, encouraging a culture of engagement, and managing projects to effective completion. In addition to inspiring and mentoring your team, you will take on senior specialist responsibilities, managing critical projects that contribute to the green transition.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the discipline group beyond project work by encouraging professional growth, maintaining a clear overview of employees’ skills, and ensuring effective staffing.
  • Supporting workforce planning efforts, including recruitment, promotions, and optimizing team capacity.
  • Enhancing employee engagement by embodying strong leadership values and cultivating an effective, diverse, and inclusive work culture.
  • Contributing and implementing strategies, action plans, and initiatives that promote growth and outstanding results.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to team members, developing them through individualized plans and constructive feedback.
  • Taking on a pivotal role as a senior specialist, project manager or discipline lead on key projects, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Creating a thriving and collaborative work environment by encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing, and open communication.

What we are looking for?

We are searching for someone who prioritizes people, technical skills, and project results. You are a role model who empowers others and thrives in an open and collaborative workplace. You understand the importance of balancing business needs with employee development, and you create an environment where team members are valued and motivated.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A degree in engineering, coupled with substantial experience in managing or delivering energy and district heating projects.
  • Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the energy or district heating sector, both within Denmark and on an international scale.
  • Skilled team leadership and personnel management skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams effectively.
  • Effective communication abilities in both Danish and English, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
