Would you like to work in a dynamic area looking into an increasing development project portfolio as part of Novo Nordisk major quest within tablets? Then read on - this position offers a unique opportunity working with cross-functional tasks within capacity and project portfolio planning as well as strategic projects across CMC Oral Protein Formulation (OPF).
About the Area
As part of Novo Nordisk’s R&D family, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases around the world. We develop, manufacture and analyse all new products coming out of our research units, ensuring that we bring best-in-class treatments to the market. Our ambition is to develop break-through products based on orally available versions of GLP-1 and other molecules.
OPF employs approximately 140 highly skilled people organised in six teams. Our focus is to develop and manufacture solid dose tablets for pre-clinical as well as phase 1 and 2 clinical trials covering a broad and exciting range of process and analytical technologies for solid dosage forms.
The position
You will be responsible for driving and improving our mid- and long-term planning systems and capacity models across the area. This includes production capacity, development capacity, resource forecasts and investment strategy. Furthermore, you will drive strategic projects in close cooperation with the management team and other colleagues.
In your role, you will get exposure to and work across our organisation and with a broad stakeholder landscape. You will be the primary contact to Business Support in relation to production capacity, resource and investment planning and act as the area representative in cross-organisational planning and capacity projects, such as CMC Unified Planning.
You see it as a challenge, when the strategy calls for change and new ways of working and you are ready to take on this responsibility. We are ambitious and constantly strive for excellence, so we expect you to take a proactive role in the continuous development of the area.
Qualifications
You have completed a Master’s Degree (e.g. in engineering, Pharmacy, supply chain management, business administration or similar) with excellent results. You bring a solid project management toolbox build on 2-5 years’ experience working with capacity planning, project management or business development in a leading organisation. Experience with the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
You are known for your strong drive and ability to create results and your problem solving and analytical skills. As you will cooperate broadly with many stakeholders, you have excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills and you communicate clearly and concisely. Finally, you work fluently in English.
