Do you want to become finance lead at a manufacturing site for a large international company? Do you have experience delivering strong analyses and solid financial reports in a manufacturing company? Furthermore, do you have experience ensuring high performance of a site, achieving targets, and developing action plans? Then you might be the Plant Finance Manager we are looking for to join McBride in Hammel outside of Aarhus.
Create transparency and an understanding of site costs and drivers
Reporting to the Finance Director of the division and being part of the Senior Plant Management Team, you will provide decision support services with joint accountability for the site’s profit contribution to the group through optimization of conversion costs. You will uphold strong financial controls at the site to safeguard assets including inventory and capital investment. Furthermore, you will oversee the timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting of operational performance. Other areas of responsibility:

Finance experience from the manufacturing industry
You probably have at least a bachelor’s degree in finance with some years of experience from an international manufacturing company. You have experience in delivering strong analyses and solid financial reports and in ensuring high performance of a site, achieving targets, and developing action plans.
As a person, you are flexible, structured, self-driven and analytical. You dare to constructively challenge existing routines and can see through and reduce complexity by creating transparency in business-critical processes based on the right targets. Your analyses are accurate and your communication as well, so you effectively support management with valid data and an optimal decision basis and recommendations. As you will become part of an international company, we expect you to master Danish and English at a high level, orally as well as in writing.

- building a financial mindset on the site combined with a cost control environment
- being part of the division’s Operations Finance Leadership Team along with other finance leads to identify, prioritise and coordinate the delivery of improvement opportunities within Finance Operations
- being the finance representative on projects impacting the Hammel site
- assisting the Finance Director of the division in producing ad-hoc analyses and project work
- controlling site overhead expenses against targets
- presenting site financial performance to the Plant Manager, the Finance Director and the Managing Director of the division to achieve a shared understanding of performance drivers and drive the right improvement actions
