Here, you will take the lead of our team handling Spares and Component sales as well as technical support for the Marine business. The team consists of one Team Leader and 15 employees placed in Denmark, Sweden and Manila. Your mission will be to develop people and implement growth strategy, while closely collaborating with the Technical Service Team and the Sales Team throughout Europe.

Marine is a business unit within the large American group Emerson. Emerson Marine is market leading within the marine business and offers integrated control and monitoring systems, valve remote control systems as well as monitoring of cargo and service tanks and flow solutions for all types of ships and offshore units. The headquarter is placed in Naestved, Denmark where you will also find our production facilities. We also have production facilities in Ry, Denmark (software house), Sweden, South Korea and China. Furthermore, we are represented by sales and/ or service sites in marine strategic countries like Sweden, Greece, UAE, Singapore, Holland, Turkey and USA. Marine has 550 employees worldwide of which approximately 160 are placed in Denmark.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Ensure customer responsiveness, sales growth, and strategy execution
- Take part in negotiations with key customers
- Set goals for your team and develop individuals to keep them highly motivated
- Closely collaborate with European Sales and the Technical Service Team
- Take ownership of the budget and performance
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Relevant technical experience or a Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering
- Longstanding years of aftermarket sales experience
- Experience within the Marine Market
- Experience with daily management and handling of customer requests
- Strong IT skills: Ability to handle data using Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and local language (Danish)
- Travel required up to 20 to 30 days a year to European locations
