y-mAbs is a fast-paced, growing company in the process of expanding its organization to support the continuous growth and the exciting clinical pipeline with activities in both early and late-stage clinical development.
As Associate Director, International Medical Affairs at y-mAbs you will drive the successful development and implementation of international medical affairs strategies and plans, and serve as a bridge between R&D and local medical affairs and commercial activities. you will be responsible for tasks related to insight generation, evidence generation, data dissemination, scientific exchange, product and disease area training, compassionate use programs, market access initiatives, and collaboration with commercial and alliance partners.
you will report directly to the SVP, Chief Medical Officer.
your main tasks will be to:
you have a Master’s Degree, preferable in medicine or equivalent, combined with solid operational medical affairs experience in oncology, rare diseases, or a related field of therapy.
your qualifications include solid pharma/biotech industry experience spanning clinical development, medical affairs, and international product launch. you have a demonstrated ability of project management, stakeholder management, and show effectiveness in the development and execution of medical strategy and market access.
Further, you have excellent communication skills and a strong teamwork mindset and are comfortable in working in cross-functional teams of Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Scientific Communication, Clinical Development, Medical Information, PV/Safety, Regulatory and Clinical Operations.
you are a person with a can-do attitude and a positive and proactive approach. you have the ability to work independently and hands-on with multiple tasks, and under ambitious timelines, and you effectively communicate written and verbal scientific data.

- Support Medical Affairs activities in markets outside of the US – e.g. Europe
- Support Medical Affairs needs (e.g. training materials or KOL meetings) for Alliance partners in international markets – e.g. China
- Support Market Access initiatives – e.g. HTA submissions and health outcome studies
- Organize and run Advisory Board meetings with experts
- Be the Medical Lead for the Expanded Access programs for markets where it is eligible
- Liaise with US Medical Affairs team to support training needs for international markets
- Work with Commercial teams to prepare for pre-launch and launch activities in new markets (outside the US)
