1,2Odense Hospital Project Team Joint Venture I/S is a cooperation between CMB and ITINERA working together with the Region of Southern Denmark for the building of the new Odense University Hospital. The new hospital consists of a total area of 250.000 sqm including 10.000 rooms and 21 km of corridors. Once completed, the new OUH will be the largest recently built hospital in Denmark.

Job Description Chief Account Odense OHPT

  • Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
  • Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts operation.
  • Preparation of group reporting package in consolidation system SAP and Tagetik
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure that the general ledger accounting complies with generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP) and best practices.
  • Support CFO in the Preparation of monthly managerial cash flow rolling report, submission of PFN to HO in Italy
  • Budget and forecast process in SAP according to HO baseline and follow up with analysis of difference between budgeted and achieved.
  • Responsible for all account aspect and all process and reconciliation for the payable and receivable
  • Review the bank payment vouchers.
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register (PPE and IFRS 16)
  • Tax compliance including the review of VAT returns.
  • Managing the log of the guarantees related to the project.
  • Reconciliation with subcontractor account
  • Cost to cost Evaluation and fixed asset management.
  • Support the CFO in ensuring the cost allocation in line with company policy.
  • Maintain highly organized and updated client monthly payment certificate and subcontractor management and account reconciliation.
  • Analize monthly revenue, expenses cashflow and balance sheet
  • Working close with Cost Control department and QS for the preparation of the managerial account for all the reporting required by HO.
  • Working close with the warehouse and procurement department for the daily accounting operation’s needs.
  • Preparation of the yearly financial statements for the project according to the accounting standards.
  • Work closely and support the local auditor for the review and the audit process until the certification of local financial statement.
  • Assist the CFO with duties related to month and year closing and management reporting.
  • Provide various reports on Ad-hoc basis.
  • English speaking, writing, understanding.


Work details:
  • The applicant will live in Denmark during the project.
  • The workplace is construction site of New OUH in South of Odense City in Denmark
  • There will be a 3-month trial period of employment.


Permanent contract.
Full time.
Expected start as soon as possible.
