Port of Roenne A/S is looking for an independent and proactive Project Coordinator to work with green fuels and Power-to-X. You should have an international outlook and the motivation to support our Chief Business Officer – Bulk, to excel in the green fuels race within a 2-year frame.
Green fuels are a key element for the decarbonization of shipping. Port of Roenne A/S aims at becoming the green gas station for ships sailing in the Baltic Sea and passing by Bornholm.
For this vision to materialize Port of Roenne is involved in several projects related to green fuels for shipping and Power-to-X production. The projects are for example Bornholm Bunker Hub and Nationalt Center for Grøn Energi, which is closely related to the future Danish Energy Island in the Baltic Sea. Our partners are both local, national, and international and the projects are recognized by the EU and the Danish government. We are looking for a project coordinator who will be a key player in realizing the projects – will it be you?
One of your key tasks as project coordinator will be to deliver best-in-class project management and support strategic collaboration between internal and external stakeholders together with the CBO – Bulk.

We offer a significant role in the strategic development of Port of Roenne A/S. You will have working days at Port of Roenne on the beautiful island Bornholm made for outdoor adventures, but you are also offered workplace flexibility. Some traveling may be requested.
The role has a 2-year frame, but for the right person there may be an opportunity for permanent employment. We have an informal and friendly atmosphere with a high level of respect, and a sense of good humor is a must-have.
You will be part of a company with a high drive and strong visions, for example, we want to be the first SDG-certified port in Denmark. We also have a goal of being the most attractive offshore wind installation port, besides of course being the green gas station of the Baltic Sea.

One of your key tasks as project coordinator will be to deliver best-in-class project management and support strategic collaboration between internal and external stakeholders together with the CBO – Bulk.
Typical tasks could be for example;
- Assist in developing project plans
- Set up project schedules, keep track and report same
- Document project targets and revise same
- Keep CBO – Bulk and relevant stakeholders timely updated on progress and deviations
- Estimate and control project costs
- Work out and journalize various emails, documents, presentations, etc.
- Work out academic reports on methods and results, mainly in English
- Participate in meetings, work out agendas, take minutes, etc.
- Ad hoc tasks
Your qualifications
- You have an academic background
- You may have 1-2 years of experience, or you can be a master student with relevant experience
- You have strategic project management knowledge and experience
- You are experienced use of the Microsoft package
- You are professional in oral and written English and it is preferred if you have good skills in Danish
- You have a driver’s license
Your profile
- You have a high drive and are good at keeping deadlines
- You are structured, good at details, keeping track, and ensuring closing of tasks
- You are strong in multitasking and motivated by a change of priorities
- You can, and appreciate too, to delve deeply into reports and draft the same
- You are a strong team player
