Are you passionate about Capital Markets and want to be responsible for BEC Capital Markets Platform covering OTC products front to back and risk calculations for all capital market products? Would you like to be a key person extending BEC’s customer offerings within the capital markets area?
As a department manager for Calypso you will play a key role in our journey which has the aim to extend our customer offering from primarily supporting Capital Markets OTC instruments to an offering catering for middle office risk, including FRTB, and front office functionality across asset classes. The functionality is primarily delivered via the Calypso platform where the department is responsible for development, configuration and support of the platform and the surrounding eco-system. As a department manager, you are accountable for end to end activities within your portfolio of products. This includes the total cost of ownership (TCO) in your area and accountability for business development, deliveries, technology/architecture and daily operations. In the position you will be part of the management team in the agile release train (ART), Capital Markets Risk & Data. Capital Markets Risk & Data’s management team are responsible for the overall deliveries, strategic directions and the implementation of the desired culture in the organization based on SAFe principles and BEC’s new strategy.

You will be the manager of a department with a total of 16 employees divided in two teams. The teams consist primarily of a combination between business analyst and developers. In BEC we are working agile in the SAFe framework with PI planning and agile roles like scrum masters and product owners allocated to the development teams. The department are known for good humor, open dialogues and a willingness to go the extra mile. Changes in the teams over the last months means that new constellations are formed and working methods and cooperation need to be established. You will be a part of a large management community, with the opportunity of participating in our CoP (Community of Practice), where department managers systematically share and develops their professionalism with other department managers within BEC.

- build and establish the right team composition based on the roadmap and activities
- develop and grow the individual employees
- interact with clients to understand their business behavior to create the strategies supporting our customer’s needs
- actively participate in ART management
- ensure that processes are followed
- implement and lead changes relating to organizing, processes culture etc.
- make customer relations on a formal and informal level with the purpose to establish a trusted communication, ensuring mutual understanding

Furthermore, we would like you to:
- hold a master’s degree within IT, or alternatively knowledge of IT capital markets through former job experience
- minimum 5 years of management experience or project management including delivery management
- change management experience
- former experience with SAFe framework or other agile development frameworks
- master the English language both written and spoken, and it will be an advantage if you master Danish.
