Can you apply your technological expertise and lead in building CCoE and implementation of a Basic Operations based on insight, proactivity & factual data? And can you, with your leadership experience and by your example, take the department to the next level? Then it might be you we are looking for.
You will build the “new tomorrow” for both cloud and basic (legacy IT)
As a department manager in Cloud and Basic Operation you will be the tactical owner of strategy with the responsibility to secure its operational execution. You must succeed in securing the right handover of CCoE to IT operation, together with e.g. implementation of patch process across services, customer and partners. You will take part in the tech transformation of legacy IT by working with a “Top X” of improvement initiatives in advantage of finance upside and more stable and reliable operations.
Your tasks will among others be:
There will be some travel activity to our nearshoring department in Warsaw.

As a person you find it easy to network and relate to people making you strong at stakeholder management. You have a long experience leading, supervising and empowering employees, and you lead by example. You are a present manager, good at planning and organizing which make it easy for you to cope with setbacks and pressure.

You will be the manager of a department with a total of approximately 15-18 employees, when fully staffed, located in both Denmark and Poland. The employees will primarily have a background as system administrators. You will of course take part in the upscaling of the department. The technologies we are working with is cloud tools (e.g. Terraform), Scripting (Linux/Windows) and operational Scanning Tools.
You will be a part of a large management community, with the opportunity of participating in our CoP (Community of Practice), where department managers systematically share and develop their professionalism with other department managers within BEC.

- Enabling processes by automation and reducing manual food print
- Enabling the rest of BEC to have an easier setup to maintain
- Continuous improvement on how to do compliance work
- Actively take part of building up cloud in BEC
- Taking Basic Operations to the next level in terms of automation
- Act as decision maker within CCoE as a representative for IT operations
There will be some travel activity to our nearshoring department in Warsaw.
Your profile
As a person you find it easy to network and relate to people making you strong at stakeholder management. You have a long experience leading, supervising and empowering employees, and you lead by example. You are a present manager, good at planning and organizing which make it easy for you to cope with setbacks and pressure.
Furthermore, we would like you to:
- Have a minimum of 10 years of technical experience and hands on work, together with a relevant education as basis
- Have experience with team leadership and knowledge of enabling a team
- Have a level of technological know-how where you are able to challenge the team
- Have broad Knowledge of Classic Operations and being capable of lifting BEC into the cloud
- Have a proven track record in automation of infrastructure
- Being capable of utilizing synergies across the Department in cooperation with stakeholders
- Master the English and Danish language both written and spoken
