Position: Senior Manager, Operational Excellence
Division: Research and Safety
Industries: Pharma and Biotech (mainly)
Location: Europe, Remote

The role:
You will be responsible for partnering with internal divisions (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, TPP, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality etc.) in order to deliver effective and efficient process improvements. You’ll ensure cross-functional implementation and ongoing management of contractual deliverables to improve internal and external metrics for commercial execution, as well as working on internal sales related process improvements and projects.
What you’ll be doing
• Project management and hands on execution of sales effectiveness projects
• Coordinate with PPI teams, corporate and RSD, to ensure alignment of projects and activities.
• Build and develop SOPs with PPI and Quality teams.
• Work with all functional areas to develop processes that can be implemented across multiple accounts across Europe
• Work with Customer Service, Portfolio Management and Quality to understand customer complaints and find solutions to rectify root cause issues
• Work with the Sales Enablement team to improve productivity through the effective rollout of new technology and digital enhancements
• Look at the business processes where we currently have manual workarounds and come up with a plan to build solid automated processes
• Understand, capture and integrate customers’ expectations of operational performance (continuous improvement)
• Translate regional capabilities (system, process and resource) into realistic commitments for our customers
• Embrace PPI by leading kaizan and PPI workshops (as required) to support the wider business
What will you need?
• Solid project management skills.
• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma and equivalent qualification
• Change management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer facing experience
• Good track record of cross-functional project management
• Financial acumen
• Comfortable with cultural diversity, including languages (English is a must. French, German and/or Spanish would be a plus)
