Global Repair Operation Repair Operation, Blades, Mech. & Con. Repair Operation, Blades & Towers
The department is part of Vestas’ Service business with its main objective of handling global repair operations in both on-site/ up-tower and on-ground repair of blades and towers.
Repair Operation, Blades & Towers consists of 28 dedicated blade/towers technicians and 3 support staff. All team members come from a wide range of blade/towers business backgrounds, which enable us to provide blade/towers repairs and upgrades regardless of type.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Team Leader to handle the following areas of responsibility:

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Team Leader to handle the following areas of responsibility:
- Leading a high-performance team of dedicated technicians
- Ensure all quality, safety and environmental requirements are maintained
- Ensure that all local agreement is in compliant and implemented
- Daily approval for working hours according to local agreement
- Approval of travel expenses according to Vestas guidelines and budgets
- Ensuring that the Vestas personal development plan (CPD) is followed
- Ensuring all training plans is up to date and aligned with the needs
Also, you must always be promoting a safe working culture and in accordance with the Vestas safety values.
Qualifications
We favour that you have the following qualifications:
- Leadership experience, preferably in production management with teams
- An educational background relevant for this position e.g. a degree/diploma related to management
- Excellent verbal and written commination skills in English. Danish or other languages can be an advantage
- Knowledge in blades production (is a plus but not a must)
Competencies
- Great interpersonal skills in working with different cultural backgrounds
- High level skills in leading by example and 5S principles
- Understanding in commercial acumen and dealing with internal customers
- A self-motivating and proactive “can-do” approach
- Have an overview, can prioritise and make decisions
- Practical grounded and with a service-mindset
