We offer
The Commercial Excellence function will lead our development and delivery of solutions that empower our global commercial organisation. Delivering tools, insights and processes for our decision makers, sparing with leadership and together finding the best path to ensure our sales force is effective and successful in our markets. Innovation will be encouraged, as well as introduction of best practice that are proven solutions to our current challenges.
Key responsibilities
• You own & lead our excellence activities, with engagement across functional and business division stakeholders to build a clear roadmap.
• Focusing on establishing clear customer segmentation, new customer development, value propositions and a highly active pipeline culture.
• Drive the relevant standardisation of our business, allowing for efficiency improvements while recognising the variations that exist. Use the standardisation to build value both internally and for a greater customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for integration of role and channels strategies, supporting an effective cross division engagement model for seamless customer engagement.
• Partner with Divisions and tech to establish a robust product management framework, allowing for a scalable approach to new and existing content.
• Drive our mindset on continual improvement in our commercial competence, recommend improvements to our sales and service models as well as identifying key capability gaps and solutions.
• Make us better, find ways to enable a faster, more effective and ultimately more successful commercial organisation through new structures and the way we work.
We are looking for
We are looking for a person with a strong foundation in commercial roles, that brings a credibility to support and lead solutions of value through our organisation. You will have a passion for transforming how teams work and delivering success through empowering others. Able to actively listen and translate complex issues into clear challenges, you can demonstrate where you have been successful in taking a commercial team forward. We anticipate that you have an appropriate level of education and commercial/process background and can see yourself in many of the following characteristics:
• Cross-functional mindset, that has supported you in developing and maintain effective business solutions
• Able to apply a holistic view on the business while utilising data and insights to find the right approach for scalable actions
• Excellent in building relationships that help people work together cross-functionally and across the organisational matrix.
• A solid skillset in coaching and developing of competencies in commercial teams
• A background in building pragmatic processes and data driven solutions that delivered successful outcomes.
• Competence in supporting some or all of the core Sales, Marketing and Customer Service activities within a B2B or B2C environment.
• Self-motivated and resilient in solving complex challenges across business divisions.
