Fantastic opportunity to lead and develop Maersk Training Esbjerg We offer We are seeking an experienced leader with strong commercial drive and a solid experience ensuring the safety for operational employees in industries such as maritime, oil & gas and wind. Overseeing and driving all aspects of the business, the General Manager will take responsibility for growing the top and bottom line and in doing so ensure a balance between profitability, sustainability, quality and high levels of customer service and satisfaction. The General Manager reports to the Global Head of Safety, Survival and Technical Division. As part of a global conglomerate, the candidate will have an opportunity to perform in a global work environment and gain global exposure. Key responsibilities • Provide sound leadership and direction• Full P&L accountability• Growing top and bottom line by developing and expanding the existing customer portfolio, and expanding with new customers.• Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on emerging market demands• Provide effective leadership to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence and commitment to safety standards.• Develop and execute on strategy together with local management and Division Head We are looking for The right candidate is an experienced Manager, with a wide range of business experience; able to support, implement and sustain change and improvement – you are a self-starter with the sense of urgency required to get things done quickly and with high quality. You are commercially oriented and operationally astute and a Leader that can demonstrate a high performing track record. • Experience from the training/education and/or form within the oil & gas industry will be an advantage• A passion for technology, commercial acumen and ability to deliver value through strategic business development.• Understanding of cost control in a service business• High ethical standards and integrity• Experience working with headquarter and functional resources, ability to build effective relationships, solve problems, and get things done.• Experience creating a high-trust, high-performance, team culture.• Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills You will lead from the front motivating and inspiring those around you.
