Do you have experience as a Project Manager in an international context, and possess a combination of technical expertise and commercial understanding? Can you see yourself as part of one of the fastest-growing European actors in onshore and offshore wind turbine installation and servicing, with projects worldwide? Then we have the perfect job for you as Project Manager in the offshore installation team at Global Wind Service in Fredericia, Denmark. Reporting to the Global Director Offshore, you will be part of an organization with great colleagues and a clear growth strategy.
Management of complex offshore installation projects and clients
Your primary responsibility will be to manage complex offshore installation projects. You will be in frequent contact with clients to stay abreast of their needs, and your performance will be evaluated on customer satisfaction, project budget adherence, timeline, and the highest safety and quality standards. In addition, you must understand how to thoroughly structure communication between the sales department and the project organization, to ensure proper execution of the tasks that need to be done. Other responsibilities will include:
Being responsible for offshore installation projects, you will have a very independent and challenging job in an international environment within a highly profiled industry that is constantly growing. You should expect approx. 40-60 travel days per year.
Flexible and structured project manager with great communication skills
You have a technical or commercial background, and experience from a similar position in an international context - preferably from the offshore industry. Coupled with your technical understanding, you must be commercially aware and experienced in client management. You have a structured, hands-on, and flexible approach to your work and can juggle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing track of time and quality. You understand how to motivate and engage the project team through visible leadership and clear communication. Finally, you are highly proficient in written and spoken English.

- Injury-free execution of offshore projects in compliance with client contracts and obligations
- Contact with clients, ensuring that the clients’ requirements are fulfilled
- Project management from A to Z (from preparations and kick-off to evaluation)
- Pre-start site inspection and site-specific agreements (e.g., accommodation and subcontractors)
- Planning and resource allocation (equipment and manpower)
- Prepare, coordinate, and maintain project documentation
- Regular contact with on-site technicians; demonstrating "visible leadership"
- Performance monitoring and follow-up; progress reporting to clients
- Cost control and budget follow-up
