In the role as Nordic Value Access Manager you will develop the pricing and reimbursement strategy for Aspens key portfolio brands and you will support the local teams and their tender processes bringing analysis, tools, submissions and stakeholder management to a new level.You will be responsible for providing strategic vision, tactical expertise and support in relation to the reimbursement submission, negotiation strategy, development of value materials, communications and tools. You will report to the Head of Nordic Commercial Operations and be responsible for supporting the local Commercial Managers with all aspects of value & market access.Tender and pricing management in focus
Main focus of this role will be on the national and regional tenders in the Nordic countries for key brands within acute medicine. You will lead and coordinate local market access projects and activities and you will guide the shaping of tenders based on analysis, interactions and building the right value approach. You will also be responsible for the pricing optimization and life cycle management for a variety of Life Cycle brands for mainly hospitals but also some brands for primary care. You will secure access to data sources, conduct pricing and margin analysis and manage Aspen’s pricing and reimbursement negotiations in collaboration with the local teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesMap and prioritize decision makers/accounts/customers such as reimbursement authorities, HTA bodies and KOLs Prepare and execute pricing and reimbursement applications, including internal approval, development of P&R dossier and budgets Manage and participate in dialogue with local authorities Identify and clear access hurdles and maximize market share in each portfolio segment Strong analyst and negotiator
You most likely come with a Master’s degree in Business, Finance or other similar discipline with Health Sciences being a benefit. You have worked some years in the pharmaceutical industry and have an understanding of healthcare delivery, tender process, reimbursement and payment systems in the Nordic markets. To succeed in this role you will need to thrive with data analysis, and project management,as well as you must have a strong business acumen and like negotiations. You are robust and able to define and secure support of the tactics needed to succeed.
