Can you develop and transform our global IT and IT-projects?
At Kvik the mission is clear: To sell Danish design kitchens, baths and wardrobes at surprisingly low prices.
In order to meet Kvik's rapid growth and ambition to expand in many new markets in the coming years, we are in the process of a major transformation of our working methods. Kvik is planning to grow turnover 24% over the coming 3 years (actual 52% growth in turnover from 2014 to 2018) - do you want to take part in this journey, then keep on reading. We are therefore looking for an experienced Head of IT development for Kvik in Vildbjerg, who will own and drive the IT development agenda for Kvik A/S, in close collaboration with the other part of the management team and the IT development team counting 8 persons. You will have a strong and central role in transforming, developing and managing our IT projects and -portfolio for Kvik A/S and our 150 stores in 10 countries, and with reference to the CFO, you will be a part of the CFO management team, with the overall responsibility for developing and implement our IT developing strategy. In addition to drive the IT strategy and digital transformation in Kvik - the ideal candidate has significant experience and a proven track record from a similar position and you possess a deep understanding of the customers needs linked to the technology - in your way of working.

You are proactive, curious, self-going and you have a strong analytical mind-set with a high level of drive – still you have an eye for excellent leadership and delegating to the team.
You have a positive and winning “can do” attitude and you manage to see possibilities more than barriers. You like to work as project manager and have the ability to establish good relationships both internally and externally. You understand the unique challenge of leading a team of specialists with very different needs and expectations in the daily work.
You have the capability to learn from other businesses and use the knowledge in your own organization. You are highly dedicated to IT development and you possess the personal impact and the leadership attributes required to resolve issues in a complex environment – and then you have a good sense of humor. You focus on success and results for the business rather than personal ambitions and you encourage teamwork and build a positive environment in the workplace. You communicate in a direct manner, directly and easily in both Danish and English.

Your responsibilities;

- Developing our IT strategy and leading our IT transformation
- A strong focus on digitalization – developing digital tools for our 150 stores and for Kvik A/S
- A very important and large project about a new ERP/back office tool for our stores is coming up
- Map out and implement the new IT setup in Kvik A/S
- Focus on development projects
- To manage and develop our dynamic and dedicated team of 8 employees
- To manage and develop Project Management Office for the future needs
- Project- and portfolio management
- Managed business development
- ERP/WMS
- Retail
- Modern visualization technology + AR
- Sparring with sister companies in the same business on development issues
- Compliance and governance
As the ideal candidate, you will be the key driver in developing our future IT setup, with support from our team in Vildbjerg.
What does it take to be a part of Kvik?
- First of all, you are a skilled IT development profile with a minimum of 2-3 years leadership experience
- You already possess a solid project management experience
- You might have a good understanding of retail business dynamics and/or franchisees
- You have proven results with transforming an IT platform and implementing IT projects
- You are fluent in English – in writing and speaking
- You have experience from working in a matrix organization and you are used to work in an agile workflow
- Last but not least, you hold a M.Sc. in IT or similar
