Service Sales Department - Vestas Northern & Central Europe
You will join the Service Sales department for Northern & Central Europe, which is part of Service Sales. Service Sales is a high performing business unit reporting to the Senior Vice President of Service who is member of the Northern & Central Europe leadership team. We are responsible for the commercial growth strategy for the Region. We set strategic direction and develop best practice and efficiency across our Region. In addition, we collaborate very closely with our Service Account teams across the Region on commercial matters such as lead generation, sales pipeline management, contract deal support, pricing and margin management.
The Service Sales organisation propels growth within five service business areas:
You will be Director of Parts & Repair which is a sub-department responsible for sales of Spare parts and services not covered under a service agreement, one of the key growth areas within Vestas Services globally.
The team to be handled is focusing on customers across the Region for both Spare parts and Repairs and are working with sales projects which will vary across several OEMs (Vestas and non-Vestas) as well as age and complexity. The team overall holds a very strong technology knowhow vital across the region and is therefore also a resource for technical support.

Service Sales Department - Vestas Northern & Central Europe
You will join the Service Sales department for Northern & Central Europe, which is part of Service Sales. - Maintenance: Service contracts for new power plants and our large installed fleet
- Parts & Repair: Spare parts and repair offerings outside service contracts
- Fleet Optimisation: Upgrade products optimising profitability of the installed fleet
- Multi-Brand: Service contracts for servicing other OEMs wind turbines
- Pre-Owned: As-Is or refurbished turbines or Spare parts sales
You will be Director of Parts & Repair which is a sub-department responsible for sales of Spare parts and services not covered under a service agreement, one of the key growth areas within Vestas Services globally.
The team to be handled is focusing on customers across the Region for both Spare parts and Repairs and are working with sales projects which will vary across several OEMs (Vestas and non-Vestas) as well as age and complexity. The team overall holds a very strong technology knowhow vital across the region and is therefore also a resource for technical support.
Responsibilities
As the Director of Parts & Repair, your primary areas of responsibility are:
- Develop and promote a service growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction, own the yearly Parts & Repair strategy and budget process for the Region
- Supervise Parts & Repair sales across Northern and Central Europe, develop and direct sales campaigns and support on technical clarifications and into the 5 different service regions via the Service Directors
- Organise and develop the Parts & Repair team (Videbaek, Hamburg, Husum and Rheine) by means of defined KPIs, targets, regular reviews and definition of strategies
- Align with Vestas’ departments (Supply Chain, Procurement, Parts Enrichment, etc.) to forecast/ ensure on time / on quality / on promise deliveries, contribute and coordinate various other work streams, such as process optimisation
- Ensure development & maintenance of high customer loyalty, provision of high availability & fast responsiveness to customer requests, thus: achievement of high customer satisfaction
- Keep track of budgets, target setting and continuous forecasting, report progress and results to Service Sales Head and other interested stakeholder groups
- Provide feedback to Global services on portfolio development, Identify and share best practices across Services in NCE as well as Global Service business area, and ensure that these are widely adopted
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant area e.g. Business Administration or Engineering
- Services sales and delivery experience
- Experience in similar position, you have minimum 5 years of working experience within the wind industry and /or minimum 5 years of experience working with spare parts and repairs
- Fluent English skills both spoken and written
- Proven leadership, Sales and change management proven history
- You are an experienced leader and know how to motivate a diverse team of managers and specialists
- Good PC computer skills (MS Office) is required, SAP knowledge highly beneficial
