How you might spend your days
As a Project Manager in Automation and IT, you will be working with a motivated team where you will be:
You will run projects in an international environment with a team of highly skilled engineers and specialists throughout all the project phases from the early analysis and detailed design to final operational handover. Your team will vary, but typically includes 5-10 people.
The technical focus for this position is Automation and IT, with emphasis on Automation. Your projects will typically span from basic design phase to developing testing and validating a complete distributed control system or PLC/ embedded control system or implementing a complete MES. Our large pharma projects involve capacity upgrade of operating manufacturing facilities and more importantly the expansion of existing manufacturing facilities. An important part of your work will therefore be executed on the project / building sites.

- Focusing on project planning, scope, cost and timely delivery
- Defining the project execution strategy, translating it into a time schedule, and consistently identifying and mitigating risks
- Updating budget in collaboration with the internal project controller
- Managing stakeholders and ensuring effective communication
- Exercising leadership and motivate, develop, and provide feedback to your team

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role, you recognize yourself amongst these points:
- An educational background on bachelor level or similar relevant, technical background
- Proven results through efficient project management and efficient communication
- Experience with large automation projects and preferably from the manufacturing industry
- Certified and experienced as a Project Manager within e.g. IPMA, PMP, PRINCE 2, SAFe or SCRUM
- Experience with DCS programs (800xA or similar)
