About us

The core facility Center for Advanced Bioimaging (CAB) Denmark (www.cab.ku.dk) was funded by the programme for National Research Infrastructure, based on a proposal which gathered more than 50 research groups with a strong focus on imaging of living and fixed biological samples.

It permits high-resolution imaging in seven dimensions and includes a Super resolution microscope for 3D-SIM, TIRF and SMLM, confocal microscopes with freely tunable excitation and emission, including FLIM detectors and multiphoton excitation; a spinning disk microscope with EMCCD, a robot microscope as well as TEM and SEM.

The Center offers access and training for all relevant microscopical methods, a biosafety level 2 cell culture lab and a histological lab for specimen preparation.
