The Center has a responsibility to operate and develop a secure national infrastructure in the healthcare system, which supports that doctors and researchers can develop targeted treatment using knowledge about patients' genes, new technology and other knowledge.

About the position
We are looking for an IT professional, who is motivated by and has a flair for learning new technologies. NGC uses state of the art automation stack that changes the whole paradigm of traditional ITIL approach. You will be a member of a team that will be further building infrastructure aimed at providing easy access to advanced functionalities in a high performance environment. You will have the opportunity to influence the processes, frameworks and tools. We strive to do things in new ways and we want you to help us challenge what used to be.

Primary areas of responsibility
As an analyst, you will play a key role in designing and supporting our incident and change management process:

Your main tasks would include:

  • refine NGC’s Incident and change management process and select, evaluate and implement and appropriated tools and help automate them
  • refine mechanism of tracking the incidents, change, capture necessary approvals, conduct impact analyses and define and measure change success matrix using tools
  • create and circulate daily/weekly updates to all relevant stakeholders during the entire processes.
  • ensure that all processes are managed as planned within the timescales agreed with the stakeholders
  • monitor and automate processes
  • communicate to key stakeholders across all levels of NGC and identify upstream and downstream dependencies and risks.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:

  • a degree in computer sciences or experience from a related field
  • self-discipline skills: realistic work scheduling, multi-tasking and ability to manage deadlines without compromising the quality of the output
  • good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • ability to team up with people from different levels of the organization.

It would be a plus with:

  • a Change Management Certification
  • experience with change management in Health IT systems or/and complex IT environments
  • experience with Incident management.
  • understanding of DevOps CI/CD workflows
  • understanding of networking concepts
  • understanding of authentication systems

Personal qualifications
We are looking for a candidate that is:

  • Structured. You are systematic in your approach; you plan and organize your work effectively with a clear target in sight.
  • Self-discipline skills: realistic work scheduling, multi-tasking and ability to manage deadlines without compromising the quality of the output.
  • Network oriented. You are outgoing and understand how to build relationships in close collaboration with specialists, IT architects, project managers and managers.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work with ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Independent but also a team player.

Terms of employment
Depending on your educational background salary and appointment terms will be based on either:

  • the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Federation of Professional Associations (AC) (overenskomst for akademikere i staten). Depending on your academic qualifications and experience there is a possibility of being classified as a special or senior consultant according to appendix 4 (protocol concerning special- and senior consultants).

or

  • the organizational agreement between The Danish Finance Ministry and the Organisation for Salaried Employees HK/Stat (Organisationsaftale for kontorfunktionærer, laboranter og it-medarbejdere (HK)), according to chapter 5 in the agreement and the collective agreement between The Danish Finance Ministry and the Organisation of Public Employees (OAO-S-Fællesoverenskomsten).

This full-time position is available as soon as possible.
