Assistant Professor positions in Energy Informatics

SDU Centre for Energy Informatics invites applications for 2 Assistant Professor positions. The candidates should have a strong publication record and demonstrated competence in conducting independent research. Candidates should hold a PhD degree in energy informatics, computer Science or a related field, and have relevant expertise in agent-based modelling, data analytics, and software development related to the area of energy informatics. They should have experience in supervising bachelor or graduate students and contributing to teaching in higher education. Candidates must also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to work effectively in a team-based research environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct research in areas such as energy system modeling, optimization, control, and data analytics. You will also be able to participate in interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers from different fields, including computer science, engineering, and economics. As an assistant professor, you will be expected to supervise graduate students and contribute to teaching in our Bachelor’s and Master's programs.

Conditions of employment
The employment as Assistant Professor is temporally limited to 3 years.

The successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. Please check the links for more information on salary and taxation.
