For our takeda office in Denmark, we are looking for a new Pharmacovigilance Country Lead.

You will be joining a Nordic team of 4, and we are each supporting the Local Operating Company (LOC) in all pharmacovigilance (PV) related matters. Your closest collaborators will be the local Medical Affairs, QA, RA, and Business Units, and we have a close collaboration across the Nordic countries as well.

This is a high impact role focusing only on pharmacovigilance related topics, as you will be responsible for supporting the organization to ensure safety of our patients.

What will you do

  • Owning the pharmacovigilance relationship within the local operating company (LOC) to provide best PV support for the LOC

  • Collaborate and liaise with PV Affiliate Relations (PVAR) and other functions within Global Patient Safety Evaluation to ensure appropriate systems/processes are in place to support the local pharmacovigilance system

  • Provide pharmacovigilance functional expertise and support to takeda Denmark

  • In partnership with PV Affiliate Relations (PVAR) define and implement the local PV strategies as appropriate.


Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree/advanced degree in health or life science

  • Relevant pharmaceutical or health care related industry experience required

  • Advanced 3-5 years’ experience in PV related environments, preferably at local, regional and/or global levels

  • Excellent knowledge of PV regulations for the post marketing global environment and applicable legislation

  • Meets all applicable local QPPV / PV Contact Person requirements including education and training experience

  • Excellent communication skills and business fluency in Danish and English.

  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a flexible mindset

  • High degree of cross-cultural awareness, and a team worker with a collaborative approach

  • Ability to prioritise under pressure
