At NNIT, we are growing our Life Sciences business across Europe and are looking for a Manager to take a leading role in further driving and scaling our growth journey. We aim to be the leading and trusted Consulting provider in the Life Science segment bridging the gap between business and IT based on our domain skills and the ability to effectively advise our customers.

You will work in an industry which has a real impact on our customers, in a role covering both people and operational management of the Regulatory Affairs Consulting Team as well as delivering on select customers and projects yourself.

We expect that you

  • Lead according to NNIT’s values (Open and Honest, Value Adding, Conscience Driven).
  • Lead and develop the unit and the delivery team and ensure succession planning.
  • Drive unit strategy development including communication and follow-up on Business planning, Competency development, Organizational review and Performance criteria on team level.
  • Act as a Sponsor for customers, bids, steering committees, vendors and partners.
  • Continuously drive business development including development of new services, quality improvements and optimizations of the local operating model.

Your responsibilities will be as follows

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Executive Sponsorship for key accounts.
  • Maintain/increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build, organize and staff the unit incl. being accountable for resource allocation.
  • Responsibility for the unit’s Business Plan development and implementation.
  • Define and implement solutions for selected customer groups/offerings of the unit.
  • Participate in major customer and stakeholder engagements – both in sales and delivery phases.
  • Analyze market for business opportunities and execute as relevant (and in alignment with Director?).
  • Ensure internal timely communication and forecasting of team allocation.

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP

  • Lead and develop the unit and management team.
  • Performance Management, Appraisal, competency development, target setting etc.
  • Coaching as and when necessary
  • Workforce Planning using internal tools available and reporting to Manager.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Proactively take responsibility for own development, business, competency and development targets and activities.

COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT AND KNOWLEDGE BUILDING

  • Be responsible for/participate in strategic projects.
  • Organizational development/education.
  • Development of customer solutions, concepts etc.

Your experience and proven track record within the industry, in a consulting firm and as a people manager will enable you successfully drive the required activities. Your professional experience working on a variety of assignments and customers is what you need to be top performer in supporting our customers effectively. Your knowledge about technology trends, methodologies and best practices will support our growth and develop strong footprints with our customers.

You will be a part of the European Management Team for Regulatory Affairs and support activities ranging from people management, business development, project delivery, collaboration with our account managers across countries and our customer portfolio. Your focus will be Germany.

Your qualifications and experience

You are driven by the consultant role and thrive on advising customers at a high professional level. You enjoy being in an environment with customers, managing a number of stakeholders. You are proactive in your approach and able to develop and identify new project opportunities.

We work in integrated global teams and collaborate with colleagues in a virtual setup which makes it important that you are a skilled communicator and can adapt your leadership style accordingly. You are a strong leader with a high level of energy and enthusiasm who can develop, inspire and coach a group of high performing, experienced employees while setting a clear direction and bring knowledge, clarity and structure to your unit.

Additionally, you have an affinity for commercials activities (pre-sales and sales) and working with financial goals is part of your professional experience. You are outgoing and excellent at building relationships in a complex organization and communicating with stakeholders at all levels – with the customer as well as internally.

You communicate fluently in English, with proficiency in German as secondary language considered a benefit.
