Xellia Pharmaceuticals is looking for a colleague to join their Corporate Legal Compliance Team in their headquarters in Copenhagen. The position is a great opportunity for you if you want to work with corporate compliance in an international pharmaceutical company. As Corporate Compliance Associate, you will assist in the continued development of Xellia’s compliance programs, and you will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management.
What will you be doing
Your primary areas of responsibility will be to assist with driving the group-wide corporate compliance program with focus on a wide range of tasks related to the implementation and management of relevant corporate compliance policies, procedures and initiatives regarding:
- Xellia’s code of conduct
- data privacy (GDPR)
- anti-bribery and corruption
- sanctions and export control
- third party due diligence
- the whistleblower system
- interactions with health-care professionals and health-care organizations
- U.S. compliance programs
- other compliance areas of relevance to the pharmaceutical industry.
As part of the Corporate Legal Compliance Team, you will also get acquainted with and solve tasks pertaining to other legal areas, in particular corporate law and corporate governance matters linked to Xellia’s professional board of directors and company law matters related to Xellia’s group companies worldwide.

The legal team consists of colleagues across Copenhagen, Oslo, Zagreb, Brussels and the United States working together in an informal and knowledge-sharing environment. We work closely together, help each other out and appreciate an informal and humorous tone. We are dedicated and passionate about ensuring a great atmosphere and room for social interactions.
What are we expecting from you
We are looking for a skilled and independently working person who understands how to prioritize and accomplish tasks with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.
As the right candidate, we imagine you have:
- a strong interest in corporate compliance and the pharmaceutical industry
- excellent analytical skills and a solid academic platform
- high integrity and great social skills
- ability in managing and driving projects
- excellent written and oral English skills
- a proactive and outspoken can-do attitude
- a desire to learn about and develop skills within corporate compliance
- the ability to work in a global, multi-cultural and diverse work environment.
Academic background and work experience:
- You hold a master’s degree in law, MSc in business administration and commercial law or other relevant degree.
- You may have years of relevant experience or limited work experience, however, your interest in corporate compliance is key.
We also expect you to have a high level of professionalism and openness and bring positive energy, curiosity and drive.
