About the department
Safety Surveillance Office is a newly established department within Safety Surveillance in Global Safety and is situated in Søborg, Denmark. In Safety Surveillance, we are 180+ employees and have global responsibility for the surveillance of all safety information for Novo Nordisk’s products, which are currently marketed or under clinical development.
The department is responsible for ensuring strict compliance with regulations, including overseeing deviations, inspections, and audits. In addition, we drive and oversee the Safety Surveillance Council, ensuring the governance of SOPs and procedures. Another main function is to encompass continuous training efforts, process innovation and optimization, acting as a point of contact for onboarding and due diligences, serving as a centre of expertise for product integrations, and driving the execution of Data Monitoring Committees across the Safety Surveillance function.
The position
In this position, you will be responsible for organising and aligning our onboarding programme and the training of our new employees. You will play a key role in defining and implementing relevant learning methodologies and supporting technologies to enhance the learner experience and output. You will further be responsible for driving initiatives for innovative, fit-for-purpose process optimisation and training.

Qualifications
As an ideal candidate, we imagine you have: A university degree within Medicine or Natural Sciences: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Master of Science in Pharmacy (MSc Pharm) or equivalent; preferably complemented by a PhD Extensive experience and solid understanding of processes and regulatory requirements within pharmacovigilance A strong insight into the value chain within a pharma company Proven track record in establishing effective learning and development governance and working closely with stakeholders to ensure it creates value The ability to work independently in a continuously developing environment As a person, you take a positive and pragmatic approach to problem solving and you are eager to optimise and simplify processes around you. You are proactive, courageous, determined and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are curious and you have a risk-based mindset as well as a can-do attitude.
