Welcome to the Observability team
At DSV, we are well underway with building our new hybrid platform for both public and private clouds. At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of this endeavour as you join our Hybrid Compute Platform (HCP) department.
The department consists of a wide range of teams, and you will be joining our newly established Observability team. This infrastructure product team consists of you, a product owner, site reliability engineers, and other specialists. Together, you develop and design infrastructure products using open-source products such as Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana (ELK stack).
“We’re still in the early stages of setting the team, so you and your new colleagues will be instrumental in defining how we operate,” explains Product Manager Roberto Marini.
Set the standards for our ELK stack components
As the team’s architect, you will be responsible for the architecture of the team’s infrastructure products, developing automated solutions for deploying ELK stack components in a repeatable and scalable fashion.
You will be setting the standards for the technologies, making your extensive knowledge count as you work with indexing, query processing, monitoring, deployment processes and much more. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with your team but also colleagues across the HCP department, working together to solve a wide range of development tasks.

You will be setting the standards for the technologies, making your extensive knowledge count as you work with indexing, query processing, monitoring, deployment processes and much more. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with your team but also colleagues across the HCP department, working together to solve a wide range of development tasks.
Among other things, you can look forward to:
- Designing, configuring and implementing the ELK Stack
- Creating best practices and training material
- Facilitating and leading workshops and training with internal customers and technical teams
- Developing demos and proof-of-concepts
- Carrying out data modelling, query development and optimisation, cluster tuning and scaling with a focus on fast search and analytics at scale
Organised, analytical and experienced with the ELK stack
Your ability to work closely with your colleagues and manage stakeholders is just as important as your technical insights. Moreover, you are a true team player, but also highly autonomous and comfortable working within a dynamic environment in an ever-growing company, enabling you to stay even-keeled under pressure.
In addition, we imagine that you:
- Bring a degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or similar
- Have experience from a similar role as a solution architect, business architect, or other
- Have experience with the design and development of applications using Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
- Know your way around programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Bash, Groovy
- Have knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Azure DevOps and ArgoCD, as well as containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Have hands-on experience with the Agile methodology (e.g. SAFe, Scrum) and its management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
- Speak and write English effortlessly
