Join the world’s oldest start-up and turn up the volume on your career
At GN Audio, we seek to continuously lead major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions and provide professionals and consumers around the world with truly innovative headsets and speakerphones.
Our architecture and technology decisions now and in the future are vital for how we develop our portfolio of products. Our new colleague will have an important role in securing that we pursue the right technologies and systems that can integrate with our products. During the process it is important that you are able to consider the audio-, mechanical-, electronic- and software elements that need to work together.
What your colleagues say about working at Jabra:
Jens Kirkelund is the manager of the Tech Enablement team that you could potentially join and explains: “I have high aspirations for my team and our work. I am very proud of what we deliver every day and I think the Jabra product portfolio shows why.
I support Jabra’s continuous efforts of being a flexible workplace, prioritizing the wellbeing and engagement of our employees. I enjoy sharing my passion and optimism in the team while trying to empower employees to grow and develop as people and professionals.”
What will you be doing?
When R&D brings forward a new audio concept, the Audio & DSP Architect is responsible for advising on how to integrate these new as well as existing technologies into the platforms. 1 week you might be occupied by investigating new tech trends and discussing long-term technical solutions in R&D. Another time you could be discussing challenges in the current architecture, overall product experiences and expectation to the coming product development with members within R&D.
Sound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to succeed
The Audio DSP Architect will have the full system overview. While hands-on programming is not required, the ability to understand and be able to connect with our developers is.
We imagine that there are several ways to succeed in the role, but your background and experience might include knowledge of some of the following areas:
Fluent written and spoken English skills
As an international organization with colleagues in over 50 different countries, our official company language is English. It’s crucial that you can communicate smoothly with your colleagues, no matter where they are.
The Jabra culture
Our culture is upbeat and positive. We greet every day with energy and passion, bringing our best selves and approaching problem-solving and challenges with a ‘glass half full’ attitude. We’re independent, but we also know when two heads are better than one. Our leaders are encouraging, our teams are tight-knit, and we believe in the power of collaboration across every level of our organization.
Think you’ve got what it takes? Apply now.
To apply, use the ‘APPLY’ link no later than 27 January 2022. We hope to conduct interviews during January and hope to have a new colleague start by March 2022.
