Are you ready to leave your mark on the biggest Cherwell set-up in Denmark? Then join us and be overall responsible for our Cherwell architecture. You will be involved in analysing and developing a variety of different solutions for the tool that handles requests like ordering hardware, system access and reports.
You can look forward to developing professionally as you will naturally be updated on the newest features in Cherwell and share your knowledge with the rest of the organisation. At the same time, you will not be on your own, but work closely together with our skilled developers, requirement analyst and test and release manager.

Join a dynamic, international team
You will join the Cherwell Team consisting of a manager and a requirement analyst located in Denmark as well as 4 software developers, 1 test and release manager in Poland and 1 software developer in Portugal. We take pride in producing great documentation that gives easy access to the information you need, and we will of course give you a thorough introduction to our well-oiled machine.
We are known for working professionally in an informal atmosphere – we like to have fun but also to deliver a job well done. Even though most of our teamwork is remote, we still have plenty of opportunities to help each other and get in touch at our daily Scrum meetings, weekly developers’ boards and Cherwell forums, team meetings and one-on-ones.
“We have such smooth collaboration that it is easy to forget that we are at different locations. We enjoy spending time together even when we are busy – whether we play planning poker or have online quizzes just for fun,” Heidi continues.

Help us take our Cherwell set-up to the next level
You will design and develop new functionalities; expand on the existing functions and lead general maintenance and you know how to scale the tool. This entails being involved by our requirement analyst in the more complex requirements from users from all over the organisation, for example when Cherwell needs to be integrated with other systems.
As an architect, you will design the essential core building blocks that make up a technical solution. More specifically, this means that you will be the technical lead on our strategy and provide E2E solution architecture design and recommendations. In order to understand business goals and support delivery outcomes, you will collaborate with different stakeholders from various IT departments to our Compliance department.
An important aspect of your job will also be to have the overview of and expert knowledge about the DSV Cherwell infrastructure and system relations, so you can ensure that the set-up matches the users’ needs and performs as expected.
Along the way, you will help us keep our high standard of documentation and keep yourself informed on the newest developments within Cherwell by participating in user groups, webinars, and conferences.

Even though you can have a lot in your pipeline at times, you are calm enough to take a step back and make sure that we take the time to develop the best possible solutions. Professionally, we imagine that you:
- Have some years’ experience as Cherwell developer, preferably from a big international company – a certification is a big plus
- Have experience with MS SQL and Oracle
- Have knowledge of ITIL – maybe even a certification
- Have programming experience in .NET, Java or other script languages
- Could have an education as a programmer or IT architect and/or has experience working with IT infrastructure
- Speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a prerequisite
