Space Copenhagen is looking for an architect/interior architect for our office.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong level of design awareness combined with experience in all phases from development of concept throughout design development, construction documentation and construction administration.
We are a smaller highly specialized international studio with a team of talented people. We work with an international mindset and aim, our projects range in size and complexity, and in many various countries and locations.
We focus mainly on the hospitality sector, developing concept for restaurants, bars, retail and hotels.

Job description:
- Work as part of the team to deliver projects from concept to completion
- Produce accurate design and technical design intent drawings incl. FF&E design to form a design package
- Produce client and project presentations in InDesign including visuals, drawings etc.; alongside the directors and senior designers
- Create detailed specifications and drawings for the client design team and suppliers
- Involvement in detailed design development and implementation processes
Qualifications required:
- A degree in Architecture, and / or Interior Architecture-Design with at least 2 years’ experience
- Experience in conceptual and design development throughout industry standard stages of development.
- Fluent in English. Other language skills a welcome advantage. Some Danish language skills are a plus.
Required experience:
- The ability to work at the peak level of design awareness
- Working in a team with other designers.
- Preparing comprehensive working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- The creation of 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients
- Sourcing products, e.g. furniture, lighting, fixtures and fittings, decoration and providing samples for the client
- Observance of up to date new advances and developments in the design industry
