Designer/Architect for KOMPAN Design Studio - Denmark
For our Product Innovation team, we are searching for a Designer to join our Custom Design Studio. So are you an enthusiastic, committed and talented designer who is motivated to join us in going forward towards an even brighter future - then we would like to hear from you! You could be an industrial designer with a flair for architectural structures, or you could be an architect with experience in components and outdoor equipment. Alternatively within the field of design and architecture.
We are a dynamic cross-national team of nearly 30 playground designers creating the world’s most innovative, imaginative and bespoken play spaces and sport & fitness areas. If you dream of playing a part in creating healthier and better lives for future generations, this could be your opportunity.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a designer/architect in our Custom Design Studio, you will be responsible for creating and modelling bespoke playground structures. You will be facilitating this through 3D modelling and 2D visualization. You will be part of a dynamic cross-disciplinary team that delivers results to the highest possible standard and create fantastic products worldwide.
Key responsibilities
Your profile
You have a creative mindset and a good technical understanding combined with an ability to illustrate and communicate. This is supported by a strong understanding of space. You are motivated by working on a variety of tasks. You are efficient and master time management along with creativity - both in terms of utilizing existing modules in new ways, and when you come up with new innovative and bold design suggestions.
You have a design-related or architectural master’s degree in the fields of Industrial Design or Architecture. You are a team player with an ambition to learn and develop new skills. You are sociable and helpful with a can-do attitude and a positive outlook. You are most likely proficient in Rhinoceros (or similar 3D modelling software) and have experience in Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.

- Respond to customer’s dreams and wishes with visionary new custom designs
- Create new high-quality variations of existing KOMPAN designs
- Deliver appealing sketches within a limited timeframe
- Ensure efficiency in collaborating with you colleagues through clear communication and hand-over.
