IT Architect & Project Manager

European Energy is an international company in exponential growth. We develop, build and operate wind and solar parks globally as well as Power-to-X and energy storage projects. Consequently, we play a significant role in resolving the climate crisis by reducing the world’s CO2 emissions. Our HQ is in Søborg with a view of Copenhagen. We are over 300 employees with 25 different nationalities and have installed green energy projects for over 15 billion DKK since 2004.
As our new IT Architect & Project Manager, you will work with a wide range of applications and systems across the company and ensure coherence between them. You will coordinate the development of a stronger IT platform including ensuring a good IT architecture as well as a project management role in specific projects. European Energy is a company where IT plays a central role in our digital development journey, and you will have an essential role in the company’s success.
Your professional IT toolbox is solid, and you have a broad knowledge of IT technologies including Microsoft Azure and in-depth understanding of how to build robust data and reporting environments. You enjoy being hands-on working with applications and databases, but you are also capable of seeing “the bigger picture” and ensure strategic IT development based on an understanding of the business needs. You have good communication skills and find yourself working well with internal stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities
- Ensure an efficient IT architecture across our systems
- Outline a roadmap of IT projects for the next 2-3 years to create an effective IT platform for our growth
- Project manage the development of our data structure and reporting tools for all our operational plants
- Take ownership of and drive other key IT projects
- Assess commercial needs and transform them into requirements for IT solutions
Your Profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience working with IT development
- You have experience with IT project management and have effectively completed projects from idea to implementation
- You have in-depth understanding of databases and applications for reporting based on data from different systems
- You work structured and independently
- You possess good communication skills
- Full professional proficiency in English
- It is an advantage if you have experience with the energy industry
