Description:

The Engineering Productivity group is part of the Engineering Operations organization and works hand in hand with the SRE and Quality Engineering teams. They are the center of gravity for driving operational maturity excellence. Engineering productivity is a data-driven engineering discipline looking to make engineers more productive through process and automation.

The Test Architect will build infrastructure, harnesses, tooling, supporting all teams to help improve engineering velocity and product excellence.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering Operations. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for solving problems, finding issues early and takes pride in the quality of their work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and strategy for harnessing the p44 platform
• Lead the engineering efforts by driving architecture selection and decision, software design, execution, and operations.
• Partner with engineering teams, Quality Engineering, SRE to drive product maturity efforts.
• Drive transformative initiatives to meet the increasing complexity of our engineering workflows across the globe
• Promote product excellence.
• Strong sense of ownership, and drive
• Mentor engineers to grow their automation skills
• Play an influential role in growing project44 to the industry leader in technology

Requirements & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working with Engineering Productivity, Quality Engineering, or Center Of Excellence teams.
• Strong experience driving organizational changes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong experience developing in Java and Python
• Strong experience using Git
• Strong experience with Continuous Integration systems
• Strong experience with UI, API, Mobile, load test automation tools
• Strong experience working with Docker containers
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS
• Passionate about developer tools and optimizing engineer’s velocity.
• Collaborative team spirit with great communication skills
