At our offices in Ballerup, a team of 2 chemical engineers, 2 materials specialists and an environmental compliance engineer are dedicated to ensuring maximum durability, highest quality, and biological safety of all materials with skin contact that go into our products.
We need you to join us, as we are expanding this team with an additional colleague to meet the need for biological evaluation of our increasingly ambitious portfolio of products under development.

Perform biological evaluations
Your primary role will be to perform biological evaluations of our products under development. More specifically, you will:
· Plan biological evaluations
· Compile available data on materials, processes, use and degradation over lifecycle
· Perform materials and process characterization
· Perform biological risk assessments
· Plan and coordinate external analytical chemical and biological testing with partnering labs
· Conclude biological safety based on all available information including test results
· Write biological evaluation reports
You will be joining a young, highly professional, and dynamic team. We share the ambition of supporting our business with timely, highly efficient state of the art biological evaluations.

About you
You are practical, productive and team oriented. Furthermore, you:
· are well-versed in polymer chemistry, possibly from previous positions in R&D or manufacturing
· hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical engineering or a similarly relevant field
· may have previous experience with biological evaluation of medical devices or have studied medical device regulations
· may have knowledge and experience within toxicology
· are fluent in English both in writing and orally
