Exciting toxicology position in an entrepreneurial biopharmaceutical company

In the newly established role as Toxicologist at ExpreS²ion, you will report to Vice President, Preclinical Development and be part of a dedicated team of highly qualified and motivated colleagues.

You will be responsible for oversight and report for nonclinical programs, with focus on the breast cancer asset (ES2B-C001) entering cGMP/tox. You will coordinate nonclinical activities at the CROs and become responsible for nonclinical sections of regulatory submissions and documents (including IB and INDs).

Your main tasks are:

• Designing, monitoring, reporting and interpretation of exploratory and regulatory toxicology studies (in vivo/in vitro/non-GLP/GLP) conducted at CROs
• Ensuring timely availability of high-quality data and documents, including e-submission ready reports and SEND packages
• Communicating data internally and contributing/authoring of nonclinical safety sections of relevant regulatory documentation (IND/IB/BLA etc.)
• Engaging with Early Discovery team to ensure adequate species selection and qualification
• Participating in cross-functional project teams to ensure coordination and alignment of deliverables
• Project management and vendor oversight

Your qualifications include several years of experience with monitoring toxicology studies from the pharmaceutical industry or from a CRO. Experience with biologics is a must, and experience within the fields of immunology, vaccinology or antibodies is an advantage. Moreover, knowledge of PK/PD assessments is an advantage.

You have a Master’s degree in Biology, Human Biology, DVM or another relevant scientific education. A PhD is preferred but not a demand.

You are a person with proficiency in English and preferably Danish, written and orally. You are proactive and able to work independently. You are a person with the ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners. You are flexible, open to challenges, and you thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial research environment.
