About the job

As Regional Retail Manager, you will be an ambassador for Bolia. You take great pride in developing strong leaders who can secure happy and well-thriving colleagues and stores with top performance. In this position, you’ll work on a strategical level where you develop our concept and growth in the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) and France. The region represents a growth case for Bolia and has a current turnover above 30 mill. EUR, which is expected to double within 2 years.

Your success is reflected by your colleagues’ success and the high standard in your region where you manage to secure the Bolia culture and concept, strong leaders, and ambitious goals and action plans for the region.

Your tasks:

  • P/L responsible for the entire region
  • Develop Country Managers & Visual Merchandisers
  • Responsible for 22 stores (and more to come)
  • Opening new stores
  • Ensuring that the Bolia retail concept is on a high level
  • Clear concept description and development
  • Securing a strong expansion plan in the region
  • Budget responsible for the region
  • Ensuring the right salary frames to attach the right candidates for all positions
  • Develop leaders, staff, and an inspiring talent pool
  • Leading the management team through good example and visibility.
  • Develop, motivate and lead your employees to achieve their personal sales and development goals through monthly follow-up meetings and annual employee development interviews.
  • Responsible for all local HR and ensuring an open, friendly and inclusive working environment.
  • Responsible for the recruitment of new Bolia talents, onboarding, retention, and any dismissals.
  • Clear communication and good cooperation in your region and with the head office in Denmark
  • Monthly and weekly information and follow-ups in your region
  • Keep yourself and the team updated on all information from different communication platforms.

As Regional Retail Manager, you will report directly to the International Sales Director, Kim Møller Mønster who is placed at our head office in Aarhus, Denmark

Your competencies:

  • You have long experience from a top management position
  • You come from retail and have previously worked on the floor, and therefore have a good understanding of the people, tasks, and routines
  • You have experience in working strategically with a concept and know how to secure top performance across an entire region
  • You are good at communicating with your employees and motivating them.
  • You are enterprising, take ownership and work in a structured way.
  • You have a good ability to plan, execute, and follow-through tasks.
  • You are not afraid to delegate, but you are also happy to take part in the tasks yourself.
  • You speak and write English at a high level
  • You speak and write French on a minimum a conversational level
  • You are proficient in IT/Office packages at an advanced level.
  • Good IT understanding is generally an advantage, as we are a digital company that uses many different and several complex programs.
