The Store Manager role at The Body Shop

You will inspire our customers to awaken their own inner activist soul and follow us in our purpose. You are a true ambassador who through great commitment tells about our products and conveys how they contribute to something good for our surroundings, planet and people, through our ingredients and Community Fair Trade.

Your main focus area is to develop your employees and create long-term customer relationships. Our values form the heart of the business and as a store manager you work actively to incorporate these into your daily work. What will you do?

As the leader of our store in Hillerød, you are responsible for unleashing the incredible potential of our people to create outstanding and purposeful business performance.

  • You will manage an amazing team of 4 employees.
  • You will provide the strategic direction and coaching for your team members and make sure the daily work is managed including roaster and recruiting.
  • You will meet our customers with personal service and be a role model for your team.
  • You will meet (and hopefully exceed), monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Learning is key! So you will be educating your team on new product launches, and providing exceptional support to reach and improve their sales.
  • You will not only drive sales (it’s not all about the money) but deliver against our triple bottom line objectives (profit, people and planet).
  • You will drive and secure strong store execution in your store, unleashing the potential of excellent customer experience, by ensure company VM standards and all internal store execution guidelines are being met.
  • Sometimes you will need to recruit and retain a high performing store team who demonstrate self-expression and act with purpose to achieve success, by working closely with your regional manager.
  • A big part of the job is to coach and train your team to support them to be the best version of themselves, bringing a spirit of Activism to play to their strengths and liberate their potential for future growth.
  • You will also ensure we are a business as a force for good, using our B Corp status to inspire wider change and be part of our family.

  • With an international as well as local target group we see that you are able to communicate (both written/spoken) in Danish and/or Swedish as well as our company language, English.
  • Because we aim to make the world a better place you need to be comfortable with working in various digital systems and platforms.
  • We don’t care what industry you have experience from, we rather value your personality.

Employment type: Permanent full time (37 h/week) with 3 months probation period
