We are looking for an ambitious Shop Manager to join us in developing and managing ISTID throughout the 2024 season. We are seeking someone proactive, with experience in working in the pastry kitchen, quick on their feet, and dedicated to delivering a high-quality product and excellent service to our customers. As we work with ice cream, the spring/summer season will be busy, allowing for ample time for vacation, creativity, and development, with flexibility in scheduling during the fall/winter. There will be plenty of room to shape the position to suit you best!
ISTID is a small company with an open-minded approach and a short distance from idea to action. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and play a crucial role in the company.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. You should be a guarantee for ISTID's high-quality service, make quick decisions, and excel in planning and execution.
Your working hours will be approximately 37 hours per week, primarily during daytime on weekdays, but occasional work in the evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
You will receive thorough training in handling and producing with liquid nitrogen, as well as the production of all our organic ice cream bases and toppings from scratch.

- Assisting in training and developing our staff
- Customer service in the store, taking the lead in ensuring high service standards
- Administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, creating and adjusting schedules, planning ice cream production, and quality control
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in similar positions as a sous chef or store manager in a cafe/restaurant
- Is structured, organized, proactive, and enjoys working with people
- Thrives in a busy environment and has a high energy level
- Enjoys working in a kitchen and loves exploring and experimenting with flavors
- Is flexible and can step in when necessary
- Has a driver's license and finds it exciting to drive our old vintage fire truck to various events in Zealand (not a requirement)
