As our new Functional safety engineer you will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 31 passionate colleagues in Denmark supported by our global engineering center. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector for projects around the world.The primary focus of our services is field instrumentation, automation, SCADA, ESD/fail-safe and Fire and Gas systems, SRO, networks, cyber security/OT security, telecom and data analysis. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, follow-on engineering and owners' engineer. Furthermore, we also support clients with operation and maintenance and conduct Functional Safety Assessments and audits.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Act as functional safety responsible in projects in close collaboration with project team and clients.Act as project manager/lead on automation projectsLiaison with clients and suppliers and lead discussions/clarifications related to system designPrepare functional safety deliverables, e.g. Management Plan, Safety Requirements Specification, Common Cause Assessment, SIL verification, validation plan/reports etc.Perform specification and design of automation systems and field sensors and final elements.Perform design within automationProvide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution phase.Provide input for and participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning.Inspection/visit of installations on Sites.Participate in or lead Functional Safety AssessmentsYour starting point for constant growth
