Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.</p><p> </p><p><strong>You will join our Safety department</strong><br>As our new Technical Safety Engineer you will be part of a strong team of around 20 safety experts located in Esbjerg, Copenhagen and Vejle. The position is in Esbjerg and you will be working close together with colleagues in Denmark, Norway and other parts of the world. The team is a good mix of younger and more experienced colleagues with lots of interesting, challenging and varied projects to deliver in the near future within the Energy sector, participating in the transition to greener fuels such as hydrogen, methanol and ammonia and offshore wind. The focus areas of the department are offshore and onshore facilities within Power to X technologies, Offshore Wind (substations) and CO2 transport and storage. We cover all safety aspects of projects including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, owners engineering and permitting.                                                                                                                          </p><p>Our core competences are: HSE management, risk assessment (qualitative and quantitative), Risk identification workshops (HAZID, HAZOP and Design Review), Work Environment studies, among others. We are a busy and energetic team with a positive mindset, always looking for the next challenge. We deliver engineering and consultancy services for projects mostly in North Europe but also in other parts of the world. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, coordinate and prepare Technical Safety deliverables for design projects within offshore substations, hydrogen production and CO2 transport and storage, </li><li>Lead, coordinate and prepare Safety and Health reports as well as other related input to permitting processes with the authorities for offshore and onshore facilities.</li><li>Lead and/or participate in safety/risk workshops where you will be responsible for workshop preparation and for documenting findings and actions. This includes both HAZID, HAZOP and ALARP workshops </li><li>Leading, coordination and preparation of Risk assessments and Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRA) </li><li>Evaluating risk and risk reducing measures according to the ALARP principle, including cost benefit analysis</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong><br>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>M.Sc. or B. Sc. Degree in Engineering or Natural Science Education (Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry)</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience with Safety engineering from Energy sector</li><li>Understanding of work required to perform risk assessments/risk modelling, consequence analysis and quantitative risk analyses in design projects</li><li>Experience with leading and preparing safety reports and documentation for the authorities </li><li>Excellent English skills since this is our corporate language</li></ul><p> </p><p>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: self-driven, proactive and result oriented.  You like challenges and thrive in developing and creating added value to the work that you do.
