Want to join the green growth journey with a leading player in climate-friendly fuel cell solutions?
In a time of ambitious goals for sustainable energy, fuel cells will play an important role as a replacement for climate-damaging combustion engines in the transport industry of the future. Ballard Power Systems Europe is recognised as one of the leading players in the commercialisation of fuel cell solutions and is currently working on an important transformation from exclusively being an organisation focusing on product development to being a commercial business with large-scale sales and production. This transformation has generated explosive growth which is expected to continue for many years. The company’s aim is to consolidate its position and its activities in the European marketplace and establish itself as one of the biggest players in fuel cell solutions.
On behalf of Ballard Power Systems Europe, we are seeking a Production Engineer to participate in this growth journey and make a mark on the company’s future development.
About Ballard Power Systems Europe
Ballard Power Systems Europe can trace its roots back to 2004 in Skive when what would later become Ballard Power Systems Europe was separated into a division of a local business specialising in energy-efficient quality products for heating, cooling, and ventilation. Ballard Power Systems Europe is currently an international organisation headquartered in Hobro. The headquarters employs approximately 170 highly committed people from 16 different nationalities who all share a profound passion for energy technology and want to contribute to a greener and more sustainable planet.
At Ballard Power Systems Europe, you will become part of a rapidly growing organisation. Although the company is a fast-moving environment and most days can be busy and dynamic, Ballard Power Systems prioritises socialising and human interaction which means that this is a close-knit team across the organisation that enjoys a range of social activities.
Can you create the most effective production line?
In the new established position as Production Engineer, you will report directly to the Production Manager and become part of a strong team consisting of five PTA-employees with different technical backgrounds. Your main focus will be on the operation, production optimization and implementation of lean initiatives, thereby designing the most optimal structure for the implementation of sales and development projects. Furthermore, you will look into our production methods, processes and flows in order to create the most effective production site.

This means that you by nature are analytical, foresighted, results-oriented and driven by challenging the existing.
We also expect that:
Futhermore you must expect some travel activity to Canada as well as meeting activity with employees from Canada that is placed in the evening due to time differences. However it is not an every day event.
What will you get at Ballard Power Systems Europe?
At Ballard Power Systems Europe, you can look forward to a warm welcome from your new colleagues who will make every effort to ensure both your social and professional onboarding. You will be given structured and carefully designed onboarding which includes a range of training courses.
