In the position, you will function as a competent and trustworthy sparring partner for the business. You are expected to have a general interest and an open approach towards creating relationships across the organisation. You will be involved across multiple levels and functions to deliver production performance insights and develop synergies. You will pay special attention to creating insights into the business unit’s Cost of Material and product standard costs, drive and contribute to budget processes, improve forecasting, and provide variance analyses.

The position aims to create transparency in the financial performance across the organisation, by creating a stronger analytical foundation and an increased and proactive dialogue with Operations and contribute to decision-making within the organisation.

Your main tasks include:

• Ensure optimal definition and setup of the Cost of Material in P&L of the factory
• Drive budget and forecasting processes
• Drive monthly reporting of the factory
• Ensure proper system tools
• Prepare and follow up on business cases and follow-up on these

You have a relevant economic education, but your professional experience is heavily weighted. You have at least three years of experience from a similar position and have gained good practical experience with production controlling. You have a strong toolbox with a wide range of economic and financial tools and a high degree of business understanding. It is advantageous if you have experience in an international environment and have been associated with a business unit or division reporting towards a main company, group or equivalent.

As a person, you are energetic and a team player with a good overview. You have good communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues in an easy, understandable way. At the same time, you have an eye for details and value quality highly. You must thrive in environments where development and change are on the agenda.
