Are you looking for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity to supplement your studies? Join us as an Intern in Novo Nordisk and get an opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues from many different nationalities within various fields. The working hours are flexible from min. 18 to max. 37 hours a week enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at university, project work or writing your Bachelor's / Master’s thesis. It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theories into practice.
About the department
The Production Infrastructure Management department consists of highly qualified Information Technology and process experts who are responsible for overall customer engagement and management of our Infrastructure Services that we deliver to our Production area. The team is working in close co-operation with Novo Nordisk office in Bangalore, India and external vendors. Your workplace would primarily be in Bagsværd, Denmark.
The position
The candidate will work with smaller projects and daily system management tasks. Examples of tasks are: be part of supporting and improving communication with our Production sites (eg. updating service level agreements and service catalogue), improve existing internal processes defining how we govern our Infrastructure services and participate in ad-hoc project tasks working closely with colleagues and department managers.
As part of the internship, the candidate will work with and be introduced to important areas of managing IT in the pharmaceutical industry, such as Information
Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and GXP regulations.
- Internship period: 6 months
- Working hours: Flexible (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
- Start date: 15 August 2019
- Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
- A Danish full time work permit is required
Qualifications
We are looking for students who is in their Bachelor's and Master's degree. We are looking for an Intern with passion for IT infrastructure, and the interplay between business and IT with focus on compliance.
You are currently studying your Master’s degree within IT, Web Technology, Communication or another relevant field. You must have strong communication and general IT/Microsoft Office capabilities. It is a benefit if you have insight into corporate use of IT, ITIL processes, process optimisation, project management and organisation change management.
We expect the candidate to be service-minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Ability to manage a large volume of tasks (with supervision), fluency in oral and written English, sound personal judgement and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you bring a healthy sense of humor to your work even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
