Senior Project Manager – Manufacturing Product Management

Working cross functional and globally
You will join Manufacturing Product Management in Bjerringbro, Denmark. The department consisting of 15 project managers globally, hereof six located in Bjerringbro. As projects managers they are responsible for executing product development projects within Manufacturing. After product launch, the department is responsible for maintaining the product in a manufacturing perspective.
The position
As Project Manager in Manufacturing Product Management, you manage projects across several countries and with different complexity levels. This includes collaboration with various corporate stakeholders in all Grundfos, on many organisational levels. By excellent project execution you will successfully deliver project across Manufacturing. You will work closely with Grundfos development, Supply Chain, and Production Plants to make sure the products get the best possible start to their lifecycle.
You will secure a structured approach to execute you projects according to Grundfos project stage gate model. This includes driving a project team of local project managers, specialist, and stakeholders through an end-to-end process – from early project preparations to sign-off and closing projects. In doing this, you drive the development of project plans, cost and investment, and you make sure plans are executed as intended by the project team. Furthermore, you have a eye on change management in your projects, and you make sure our projects are successful implemented and that the planned impact in manufacturing is realized. In more details:
This job is performed in an international environment and flexibility to work across time zones and travel up to 30 days per year including international travel and weekends is required.

- You are accountable for planning, execution, controlling and realization of scope, time schedule, investment, cost & manning for your projects in Manufacturing
- You coordinate and plan deliverables and activities between Manufacturing units: Group Supply Chain, Group EHS, Operation Strategy and Manufacturing Engineering Project Managers and Center of excellence.
- You set the project team in collaboration with “Line Management”
- You drive project governance and reporting of your projects
- You work closely with stakeholders and your project team to ensure engagement.

Skilled Project Manager with good business acumen

- Master's degree in Operational Management, Manufacturing-, Mechanical-, Electrical-, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- 3-6 years of relevant project management experience within a mid to large technical organization.
- It is an advantage, if you are PRINCE2 certified or have other similar certifications.
- Familiar with IT systems for handling process documentation.
- Speak and write English fluently.
