We are looking for an enthusiastic student assistant to work in our Capacity and Production Department. If you are interested in a project management career and have a further interest in capacity planning and production, then this position may act as an important step in that direction.
About the position
You will report to our Capacity and Production Manager, supporting both him and the department with various tasks. There will be a primary focus on data analysis within both production and facility projects.
You will join a well-functioning team consisting of production and capacity specialists who are passionate about the VIKING mission of saving lives. Depending on your background and specific interests, you will collaborate with relevant specialists on a variety of projects. Your role will be to both assist with ongoing projects and develop your own, as well as taking responsibility for the project coordination and management of selected projects or sub-projects.
The working time is approximately two full days a week, with the possibility of more hours during school breaks and flexibility around exams. Together with your manager, you can arrange your working hours to match your schedule. Most of our student assistants write their thesis or graduation project for VIKING, and some choose to take their semester internship in the department.
So, if you are studying within a relevant technical or production-related program, and have at least 1.5 years left of your studies, you may be the new team member we are looking for!
Primary tasks include:
- Supporting the team in daily work and on relevant projects
- Data collection and analysis
- Presenting data and visualising content
- 5S follow-up for production in Denmark
- Production follow up in terms of data analysis and presentations
- Ad-hoc daily tasks (administrative and practical)
Necessary skillsets and qualities:
- Strong data analysis skills
- Fluency in MS Excel
- Analytical, structured and ambitious by nature
- Excellent language skills in both Danish and English (oral and written)
- Self-aware with regard to personal strengths and weaknesses, and unafraid to ask for help
- Unafraid to follow up with colleagues, regardless of age and seniority
- Able to see both the big picture and the smallest detail
- Pragmatic, can-do attitude
Start date: As soon as possible, but we are willing to wait for the right candidate.
