A role with high impact
You will be responsible for developing plans, programs and procedures related to improving plant equipment reliability. The reliability engineer is a vital role contributing to ensuring that plant objectives are being met and ensuring the effective utilization of maintenance personnel and equipment.
As the reliability engineer you will strategically work with preventive maintenance and provide recommendations for improvement. Through analysis of issues and investigations you will determine the required reliability approach with considerations given to cost and safety. You will be developing action plans that comply with demands for reliability processes to avoid equipment break-down.
Safety is a key value in FMC and for the reliability engineer safety will be an integrated approach in all tasks and challenges.

In the role you will be reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager. You will be joining a very experienced team of engineers, blacksmiths and electricians. Interactions and collaborations with production, filling and the project management teams will be key as well as interfacing with the corporate FMC organization. Cooperation with external contractors is also important.

Your main tasks
- Drive reliabilty processes
- Optimize Preventive Maintenance process
- For highest priority equipment, develop maintenance and reliability strategies to optimize - reliability, including as appropriate:
- Understanding design specifications
- Working with Project Engineers to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
- Leading equipment criticality and “Bad Actor” analyses
- Documenting reliability strategies
- Conducting RCA’s to understand and prioritize failure modes and how to prevent them
- Developing Preventive Maintenance methodology
- Developing Conditions Based Monitoring to enable Preventive Maintenance before unplanned failures occur
- Train other on reliability concepts to spread effective reliability thinking and actions across the organization
- Ensure training requirements are up to date
Your profile
You have a background as mechanical or electrical engineer (or related) with +3 years of experience in a similar role in a 24/7 production environment. Ideally you have:
- Experience with PM, CBM programs and SAP
- Experience and/or strong interest in interdisciplinary work across professional groups such as operators, engineers, craftsmen etc.
- Fluency in English is required, orally as well as in writing. You are also able to communicate in Danish in writing and verbally
