Blades BLEC Manufacturing
Vestas Blades Execution Center (BLEC) is a function within the Blades organisation in the Manufacturing organisation. The function is responsible for delivery of our manufacturing production design, including special projects, development of processes and tooling of the blades in Vestas.
We are looking for a new Production Manager to lead an area in manufacturing. The area consists of six Team Leaders and more than 150 employees, where you will be the people manager and operational lead in the introduction and optimisation of strategic products and production technologies.
We are a highly open-minded, honest and straight forward team. Responsibilities
As Production Manager, your main areas of responsibility are to:
- Ensure a safety culture with absolutely 0 accidents is maintained and further developed. You must always set safety as a top priority, hereby in line with HS&E policy
- Ensure proactive follow up by you and your Teams towards NC’s so they do not reoccur
- Develop your team to create motivated and driven employees
- Develop plans and activities for different projects and productions to ensure on-time completion and plan adherence
- Lead resource coordination and prioritisation as well as having the responsibility for department budget, budgeting and follow-up
- Optimise production processes and develop the layout
- Ensure a plan for KaiZen activities and follow through by process confirming the solutions/improvements

Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we expect that you have:
- Profound experience from being a team leader
- Experience from a large Company with at least + 500 employees and been working with cross functional teams
- A solid background focused on Flow, Production and Supply chain. It is preferred if you have an educational background in industrial engineering, but not required
- Knowledge of Danish Labour Law
- Experience with KaiZen and able to work with such activities
- Proficiency in the MS-office package
- Good communication skills in English
